Review
Playful Times is a playgroup and café for children 0-6 years and their grown-ups in St Anthony’s Church Hall Clontarf Road. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 – 1pm in a bright, spacious hall. There’s lots of toys, books and dress up clothes to keep the little ones happy and a free tea or coffee and biscuits with the entrance fee for the grown-ups. Tuesdays has story-time and live music and singing with Rainbow Phil and Thursdays has sensory / messy play and a dance session with ribbons and bubbles from Playful Steps. Scones, croissants and snacks available as well as toasted bagels, hummus, scrambled eggs and beans on toast. A really friendly atmosphere, there’s always someone ready to hold a baby or keep an eye on your toddler while you run to the loo.
